1. Who we are
GrooVR is a virtual reality drumming game for Meta Quest. For privacy and support inquiries, email contato@groovr.com.br.
2. Website data
If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, subject and message. The website may also record technical browsing information, such as pages viewed, traffic source, browser and device.
3. Meta account and game features
To verify app entitlement, provide add-on content and show leaderboards, the game uses Meta services. It may receive your Meta account ID and display name, retrieve products and prices, check purchases and entitlements, launch a purchase you request, and download music or stage files. Your display name and scores may appear on Meta leaderboards; high scores may also remain on your device until they are submitted.
4. Game analytics
To understand performance and improve the game, we record events such as session start and duration, screens and buttons used, song, stage, difficulty, score, accuracy and errors. A random installation identifier is stored on the device. When your Meta account ID is available, the game derives an app-specific pseudonymous hashed key from it. This key, rather than the original Meta ID, may be sent to Google Firebase Analytics and Google Cloud Firestore with the events. The key links events from the same account and is therefore not anonymous. We use these data to operate, diagnose and improve GrooVR.
5. Use and sharing
We use data to answer inquiries, provide support, deliver requested purchases and downloads, maintain leaderboards, protect the service and assess performance. Meta processes data needed for account, purchase, add-on file and leaderboard services. Google/Firebase provides analytics and technical storage. Website hosting, email and security may involve other providers. We do not sell personal data or use Meta account data for advertising.
6. Website cookies
The website may use cookies and measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, to assess traffic. You can control cookies in your browser. Meta account privacy settings are managed through Meta services.
7. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described, to handle requests and legal obligations, or to maintain the service. We apply reasonable safeguards. Account, purchase and leaderboard information held by Meta is also subject to Meta’s own policies and controls.
8. Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction, deletion or information about the data we control by emailing contato@groovr.com.br. To locate game records, we may ask for enough information to verify your account or installation, but never your password. Data held directly by Meta or Google may require use of those services’ controls.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the website or game changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
